Gallery Teo is pleased to announce the first solo exhibition of Francoise Petrovitch in Japan. She draws the girls and adolescent with sensitive and fragile inner face with using ink water.
At the same time, there is also held the exhibition at Museum of Modern Art, Saint-Etienne. And this time, her works are exhibited at Gallery Teo and Omotesando Celine boutique at same time.
The girls, twins, and adolescent who are created by Francoise are coming and going among the various mediums such as drawing, ceramic, glass, water ink etc…, then they become a symbol of the complicated emotions fill “delicacy”, “fragile”, and “bilateral character”. Moreover she presenting a storyline with dexterity and universal, like a story of “Alice in Wonderland”, they come from somewhere and go to somewhere.
At this time, there will be displayed the selected drawings which will be exhibited at Museum of Modern Art, Saint-Etienne; some selected drawings from series Doll, series Stand up and series Feminine/Masculine are at Gallery Teo, Gotanda; some other selected drawings from series Doll and Series Stand up are at Omotesando Celine boutique.
